The new United Airlines Star Wars theme on a Boeing 737-800 airplane should guarantee you some unforgettable positive United flight experiences.
The plane livery and its associated onboard experience can perhaps be imagined as a “Hollywood VIP-style entertainment experience in the air”, well suited and attractive for adults and children alike. In other words, great, unique, and innovative experiences await United’s passengers, fortunate to fly on that airplane.

May The Force Be With You
United Airlines has announced their joining of forces or should we say theming up, with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. The movie is about the conclusion of the long Skywalker saga.
The airline will be presenting exciting opportunities to experience a piece of the spectacular Star Wars saga on the ground, in the air, and through United Airlines’ entire galaxy.
The excitement, in a great United-style, will not only offer its customers the benefit of a unique experience. United employees will also become a part of the fun.
The United Star Wars-themed Boeing 737 – What you can expect as a Passenger
According to United, the theme features a re-designed onboard experience to celebrate the movie. The specially themed airplane will be introduced into scheduled service in November.
Airplane paint details
The 737 features imagery of Star Wars spacecraft, which includes the X-Wing and TIE fighter starships. The tail displays a differently colored lightsaber (the weapon of the Jedi), against a backdrop in black on each side. The backdrop on each side represents the two sides of the Force.
Welcome onboard United
Passengers will be greeted with classic Star Wars-themed music while they board the airplane. Commemorative pins will be distributed throughout December to celebrate the movie’s premiere.
The interior of the airplane
The airplane cabin will feature a special plaque to reflect upon the relationship that United has with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Headrests have emblems affixed, displaying the film’s dueling factions. The factions consist of the Resistance and the First Order.
